Tanjong Pagar Railway Station

A historic landmark opened by Sir Cecil Clementi in 1932. It consists of a very fine Central Waiting Hall with a doomed roof, the walls being panelled with a typical Malayan scenes. In front are the letters FMSR ( Federated Malay States Railway ) and 4 sculptures symbolising ' Agriculture', 'Commerce', 'Transport' and 'Industry'... My many thanks to Monica from Woodlands, Singapore...really gonna miss this Station...
